Art also is....

Schema 2 #

There is more than one art world.

Post study I was left wondering more why no one seem to help 'Goya' and 'Bacon' and cared more about the and (over focused on) one mans 'revelation' over another mans brillo pad art.  Yes it was a creative act, a rebellion, but who looked after the artists? Why the reluctance?  Where was their and others care?

I left more interested in caring systems, the healing arts and teaching practices which were healing.  Curious over the impact of mood. How space can be held.  Why the 'not' system was/is still a system and who and what was missing.

And that there was more beyond standard art categories  ........

Consider a wider scope for art as a platform for social mobilisation not just seeking to tear down but also to build up and envisage.

Personally, I would like to see educational institutions/ educators / courses who just let neurodivergent /disabled artist be 'in their interest areas' without interruption and without expectation to write or communicate in ways educators only want learners to or expect the learners too (i.e. Neuromajority communication which is not universal). No writing or explanation if the learners do not want to, for example. Simply let learners paint, sing, , hum, draw, sculpt as they wish and where they naturally migrate to (self directed isn't always as self directed as can be assumed).

Consider a wider scope for art as a platform for social mobilisation-  "Demopraxy" by Artist Michaelangelo Pistoletto, more widely known in Europe than the U.K is just one.
